+1 to this.
My kit is the DA 15 ltd, 35 ltd and 55-300, all in a relatively small bag, which I take everywhere, including hiking in rugged, mountainous terrain. This set perfectly complements each other, and I rarely encounter a scene where this combo is lacking.

If you like shooting with the sun in the frame, get the 15. It renders point light sources like no other I've seen. I often purposely try to keep the sun in frame whenever I can with this lens.
Not to say the 21 is a slouch when it comes to bright lights, given the pictures I've seen, but the 15 really is something special.
