Fascinating grave marker from the Park Street Cemetery in Calcutta. Lady Monson was a botanist and etymologist who worked with Linnaeus in South Africa. Sadly she did not survive long in India. This tablet was placed here by the family in 2014.

At the back of the Park Street Cemetery are tombs and graves that have not yet been restored. The weather takes a steady toll.
