Nice shot and great scan - what are the digitisation details?

Depends what you call a decent price, but I think you'll get far better image quality than your V500.
I went from a 4990 to a Canon FS4000 and was blown away by the difference.

Of course - talking rubbish for some reason, sorry! Probably why the old 105 is my most used lens :-)

Undoubtedly a fantastic lens, but I sold mine, thought I missed it, bought another copy, then sold it again. For some reason I can never really get on with 100mm (equiv) - same reason I got rid of the FA77 on my K5 (don't shoot enough 35mm to justify keeping it for FF). Saying that the DA55 was one of favourite lenses on a crop-sensor, so one day would really like a 67 FA75/2.8 - although wondering whether to get a cheap 75/4.5 to try first! Sorry for the rambling thoughts; your shots with the 200 are great as always.

Keep an eye out for a Canon FS4000. Fantastic vfm and overlooked little 35mm scanner - picked mine up for £50 I think.

Very 'painterly' - nice.
I find the the little M20/4 gets some pretty poor reviews - but I always love the results I get with it. It's still pretty wide on film, the weird distortion is normally not at all noticeable, and it's so small I nearly always take it with me - which is the key to getting photographs with it! 20151001-XP2_35mm-26 by Rob O, on Flickr

See this shot every time I open this thread - love it.
Never saw anything like this when I was at UCL (much more recently)!!

Nice. What's the IQ like and what close-up filter do you use?
Presume these are stopped down a bit?

Agreed - really under-rated little lens. Not sure if the going rate is $159, but probably worth it in isolation. Not the best example (missed focus combined with handheld shake at 1/4s...), but I like it: jpeg01+Scan-160420-11 by Rob O, on Flickr

Some good work on this page by all!
This one could do with a drop in brightness I think: 20151001-XP2_35mm-02 by Rob O, on Flickr

Love my M20/4 - probably one of my favourite lenses on film.
Not a great shot, but a recent one:
