Tried to rescue some shots from a pretty underexposed roll of TMax 100. Turns out the warning about not using a linear polarising filter on the 67ii AE prism might be correct after all...

Indeed! I keep looking at the 75mm f/2.8 AL, but it's still pretty pricey. The f/4.5 is much more affordable though...

Fantastic, thanks - so it's just down to my PP technique then! I have Velvia 50 transparencies, an Epson 4870, and Lightroom - so no reason mine shouldn't be too...
So maybe I have just been too optimistic in trying to get shadow detail out of the slide, and should just roll with dark, contrasty shadows. Not my greatest shot(!), but e.g.:

Fantastic shots. What's your digitising technique? I always find my transparency's blacks are murky brown/purple - yours are lovely: deep and contrasty.
