some really great photos on here. it was actually this forum that tempted me with the ltds.
here is my first contribution-
its the DA 40ltd showing off its macro capabilities- although it is obviously not what the lens is designed for!
very close to the minimum focus distance and stopped down to f5.6 then cropped;
by the looks of it some of the sharpness has been lost in the compressing :/

I recently got the DA40mm off ebay, looks like its perfect condition, and has been glued to my K-r ever since. The images are much better quality than i could get with the kit lens. THe size is also a major advantage.
This is a 100% crop of a photo i recently took- The purple fringing and other chromatic aberatons look pretty bad. they dont compare to my 10-17 fish, but thats a completly differnt thing. i was quite surprised at how bad it was...
