Very underrated lens. I love it for night photography. No chromatic aberration and very little lens flare. Not tack sharp but sharp enough and colors are always...well Pentax colors. Does have a problem with barrel distortion at 18mm and some light fall off too but will do until i can get that 15mm limited in my hands.

Here is one of the ice dunes on Lake Erie. Shot with the Tamron 70-300mm Di.
Have you guys noticed that this camera really picks up the blues in white areas like snow? I know i have to adjust the settings on this a bit more but i'm seeing quite a bit more blue exposure than on my K-x. Purple fringing seems to be worse on wide open lenses than on my k-x. Is this a setting thing i just haven't tweaked right yet?
