I have a friend with a Fuji X100 (leaf shutter) and she has taken just over 30K pictures with it. I don't know what the expected life is, but she's not worried about it. I would expect 1/800-1/1000, which would be typical for a MF leaf lens.
Which are made by Fuji, so I would expect to see the same level of quality if Fuji built their own MF RF digital camera.

This is true. The larger Fuji GW690II would need much bigger lens and shutter than the current crop frame 645 Sony sensor. The leaf shutter for a modern MF RF with a Sony sensor would be smaller and lighter than the older shutters used in the film RF camera. I maybe wrong, but I believe all the Hasselblad HC lenses are made by Fuji and have electronic leaf shutters. Most of what Fuji has done in medium format has been leaf shutters.

The same reason Fuji went with a leaf shutter on the X100. The same reason the Leica S2 MF lenses came with leaf shutters. Strobists delight: the leaf shutter advantage of the Fuji X100s Why Leaf Shutter Lenses Matter
But maybe the most telling reason is that Fuji has produced TEN different medium format rangefinder fixed lens cameras that had leaf shutter lenses. The Fuji GW690II, GW670II, GSW690II, GW690III, GW680III, GW670III, GSW690III and GSW680III ALL had leaf shutters. Fuji has produce more RF MF fixed lens cameras than anyone else in the business.
And to enlighten a little more ........."Designed and constructed exclusively by Leica, the central shutter available for all S lenses is not only especially compact and efficient, but also has a guaranteed service life of at least 100,000 shutter cycles, making it extremely reliable."
I think Leica knows a little bit more about glass and leaf shutters than you do. Maybe you could write them a letter and share your wisdom with them. They might not know what they are talking about.

75mm on the MF sensor is not a "telephoto" My Contax 645 came with the 80mm F/2 as the standard lens. The Fujifilm GF670 Rangefinder come with a fixed 80mm f/3.5 Lens. It's not the ideal landscape lens, but its an excellent general purpose focal length for larger formats.

I doubt they would go that fast. I would expect they would go with a leaf shutter for several reasons.
