I really like the two Crumpler shoulder bags I have. Very well made and good designs. I imagine that pack is similar.

I had one briefly and sent it back. It was too big and I decided I'd rather bring select camera gear and all my outdoors stuff than all my camera gear and selected outdoors stuff.
I also have their chest pack and found it bulky and cumbersome skiing. But I know folks love them, I just haven't been able to fit one into how I like to travel in the backcountry.
That does sound like a great deal.

I agree for urban adventures but in the wilderness the backpack (and sling) is ideal, even if it's not just so you can bring more. It carries better for long distances. I also love my little Crumpler 4 Million Dollar Home with a K-S2 and three Limited primes for stuff closer to civilization.

You are welcome to disagree but you aren't offering any alternative suggestions. That's how you aren't helping.
On a serious hike (several hours or more) I take a hiking or backpacking pack with my gear in an insert or in neoprene wraps. For shorter hikes, I'll take a Lowepro Slingshot.
I use a Black Rapid Sport strap to wear a camera I might want to grab quick shots with.
The wildlife haven't made fun of how I look that I'm aware of.
