I know it's not a universally popular concept but my favorite part of spring is the skiing!
I took last Friday off for my birthday and to do some backcountry skiing with friends. As luck would have it a storm dropped some nice new and very winter-like (in consistency) snow overnight the previous night. Made for a great day!
This is a friend of mine skiing the West face of Handies, a 14er. Not bad for late May!
