A good point, and the small problem with selling bodies on the marketplace- it doesn't often grow new Pentax users.
Hopefully there are some donated old bodies doing the rounds in schools- get them while they are young! lol

Haha read this thread yesterday and today I see a tourist with a Spotmatic :)
Did see 3 Canons and a Nikon though.

We seem to have to alot of Pentaxians from NZ and AUS represented well on the forum.
I think it to do with the whole underdog mentality here.
