Oops, didn't realise I was still in Coffs, no I live in Tamworth now and the gentleman is a pommy import. I have been out putting a roll of Superia through it this weekend - mostly to see if it has any light leaks at all.

Yep the SMC Tak 50/1.4 came with it. It was also wrapped in a genuine clip on case.
Yeah I think I'll stick with black. I actually work with a Master Gunsmith who should be able to assist me with refinishing the brassed sections authentically.

Interesting, I was considering going back to traditional silver when I resto it... I need to fix the light meter though, and give it a thorough clean!
Edit: Fixed the meter, the battery terminal had become flattened over the years and needed a little bend outwards to contact the battery neatly again.

Getting in on the act!
Spotted this little gem in a 'junk' shop, asking price was $45 ($40usd), snapped it up and went to find a battery for it. Found a battery and the light meter doesn't seem to work - good thing I bought a pair of light meters at the same time for another $10 :D
Pic using K5, Tak 35/3.5 @3.5 and Yongnuo YN560-II flash.
