Please correct me if I am incorrect (I know you guys will never hesitate though to show someone wrong haha) But IIRC it has to trigger since Pentax uses an optical triggering method. This isn't an RF setup. The flashes must be in line of sight or at least in a location to pickup the OBF's light.
I'm using a pair of cheap RF triggers to play with remote (off camera) flash. It works well and the whole package was around 20 USD. Search for 'NPT-04' maybe if you get tired of the Pentax solution (I know this a fork in the thread.. but useful enough I thought to mention).
