It's like David vs. Goliath of the film world. Cool photo of the two squaring off.

This is like in the movies when the little kid has the big bully come up behind him....the bully blocks out the sun and towers over the little kid ;) Cool photo, love the gradient and reflection.

If it makes you feel any better I actually used two WLF's for this shot, one on the Hasselblad too ;) I scoured ebay for a while to find my LX WLF. It's a lot of fun to use and stealthy for street photography. Plus the LX has such a nice/advanced metering system that I can hip fire with confidence. Good luck on the hunt!

X-posted in MF thread

More film on film action. The view is through a Pentax LX 35mm with waist lever finder. Shot with my Hasselblad 500cm / 80mm C T* lens and extension tube on T-Max 400.

Thanks! This was with the waist level finder. I do have a PME 5 viewfinder, but it has been collecting dust ever since I got my waist level. WL is the way to go, really fun to shoot with....plus the PME never metered correctly with my focusing screen anyway

The LX waist level is pretty great. It makes street shooting a bit more stealthy, lets you get those low angle shots, and it is just fun to use. Plus you can shoot through the viewfinder, which makes for some cool photos.

Just acquired a LX myself! Been shooting around town and will be picking up my first two rolls of film tonight. Still need to get a grip and strap for it. Once I get it all prettied up Im sure it will make its way into this thread :)

The LX, especially with its accurate meter, will pair nicely with my medium format gear.

Wow! fantastic product photograph as always. I do prefer this version with the background gradient, very interesting to see your studio set up and how you created that soft background.

If any lens is worth all the work it would have to be this one...what a gem. Going on your D600?

Field camera? That is a beast! ;)

I just started shooting medium format, but hope to try 4x5 sometime in the future. Not sure if I will make it up to 8x10. Beautiful cameras

A photo of my X100. In my opinion, one of the best looking cameras around.....digital or film.

You just had to out do me with the SE Pentax....my poor K1000 looks so puney now! ;) Cool photo though. love the perspective, lighting, counter/background and negative space you created. White background with a couple soft boxes to highlight the top and fill the SE side? Back light on the floor? Curious what you shot with, something wide Im sure, you limited distortion really well if there was any.

I may be in the market for another Pentax 35mm body, they are affordable and just look so nice. I like the brown body of my K1000...something a little different, but i wouldn't mind complimenting it with a black KX/LX/ME. I need to check out the SLR section here on PF to compared the features.

My "new" 500cm is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Looking forward to photos with it and of it :) You have any more Hass images in your gear p0rn stash you care to share?
