Really like how the 60-250 compresses the scene. Excellent photos.

Awesome, congrats! I'd say that image deserves a home on a homepage :) Now you can look forward to bringing the 60-250 to the race and getting some action photos.

Thanks! The region is absolutely gorgeous and unlike anything I have seen before. The weather didn't completely play along as there were some overcast days but I can't complain. I shot with a variety of lenses/cameras....the views were really wide open, the DA* 50-135 came in handy for compressing the hills/landscape. Here is another with the 50-135

Excellent images with the 50-135....looks like you've gotten used to the zoom ;) The Image with the plane and tower is incredible.....Gasworks Park?

Some crazy weather in the NW the past week or so.....it's been wet down here in Portland, so I can only imagine Seattle. Makes for some interesting skies though

Fantastic shots as well. You guys are making me want to get out to stitch some panos.

Here are a handful of shots from a recent wedding with the K5 and DA* 50-135. I love my DA primes, but the 50-135's versatility is great. You get the performance of a prime, but the range of a zoom......plus at weddings people almost expect you to have a longer lens on.

Thanks! If was a fun shoot. I brought a whole host of lenses, but the 50-135 never came off my camera. Great all around portrait lens, and a joy to shoot with.

Shot some senior photos with my K5 and the DA* 50-135. What a awesome lens for portraits, it is like having a whole stack of primes wrapped up into one lens. Most of these photos were shot @ ISO 400 and between f/2.8 and f/4. Here's a few favorites.

I have heard of back/front focusing issues with the 55mm 1.4 so maybe your Pentax body just needs slight adjustments to work nice with the lens....I'm sure there is a thread on here about it ;)

Finally got out a bit to put the 50-135 to work....love the bokeh/sharpness. A bit raining out....didn't worry a bit. Here are some shots from a trip up to Whidbey Island.
