X posted the Fuji thread......shot in black/white
Here are some photos from a show last Friday. The band is Sassparilla...a group of five musicians that play a rock/ska/blues/jug band style. Instruments include harmonicas, homemade guitars, a wash tub bass, wash board, and a percussion kit with a gas can and shovel.....but man they put on a hell of a show. The venue is at the Doug Fir Lounge here in PDX. By far my favorite place to see a show. Small venue with awesome character/sound. Got right up front, and jumped up on stage to get some photos from above when they went into the crowd for an acoustic set. Photos with my X100.

Nice! Looks like some nice landscapes. I haven't been in a darkroom for some printing in a while, but that would be a lot of fun. Looking forward to seeing the digital copies here.

Amazing captures, really nice! I like them both, but I prefer the second with bit longer of a focal length.....the lines/curves in the field, the gradient of the storm....fantastic!

More film on film action. The view is through a Pentax LX 35mm with waist lever finder. Shot with my Hasselblad 500cm / 80mm C T* lens and extension tube on T-Max 400.

A couple from a concert in the park on Mt. Tabor here in Portland. The band is called Sasparilla, they have a rock, folk, blues, jug band type vibe to them. Homemade guitars, bath tub bass, harmonicas, and a chick playing a washboard/accordion. Really a fun band to watch.....especially when you're sitting in a park drinking beer ;)

Maintenance work shut down the St. Johns Bridge here in Portland for a couple weeks...no traffic either direction from 9pm to 5am. This was of course a perfect opportunity to stand in the middle of what is usually a pretty busy road to capture the bridge from a different perspective. Shot the 15mm on a Pentax K5. 15 sec. @ f/11 ISO 100

I like the angle of this photo and the body language of the guy on the bench. Odd looking building in the background, do you know what it is? Either way I like the shapes/lines that are represented, plus how each window differs in terms of the pattern that is inside it. Wish the guy biking behind the bench guy wasn't directly behind him...shot maybe a half second later just to let the bench figure stand on his own.

Cool, moody, foggy photos everywhere ;) Nice photo. I really like how the foreground/background lines create depth and the soft gradient in the sky. Almost looks like a painting, well done.

Good to see more Pentax photos. Beautiful scene.....excellent composition.....really like how those hay bails slowly disappear into the fog. Really nice photo.

B/W series............ cross posted in the Fuji thread.....Took a tour of NW Washington last week. The first leg was up to Whidbey Island.....From there we went south down the island to catch the ferry to Port Townsend.

Artisan Barn - This barn houses a few dozens local artists in in a town in eastern WA near the ID border. As you can see the grounds themselves are a work of art with a wagon wheel fence made up of over 1000 wheels. Shot in Monochrome mode on my X100 and tweaked a bit in LR
