Yeah focusing M*300/4 is also quite tricky - it has pretty long focusing throw.....so I miss lot of decisive moments while focusing and don't even take a picture....but with practice and catch in focus this can be learned - yesterday I was making pictures in zoo with it and pretty much every photo trn out to be pretty sharp. But it's not easy....i concur.

A*300/4 for 400$ is a bargain...here in EU it costs 400 EUR. It's quite steep price for MF lens....so I went for bit cheaper and optically identical M*300/4. This lenses are great, I'm often amazed by the pictures I make with M*.
