I couldn't agree more, and also thanks to everybody that is contributing to these 2 threads :) The Q is my new favourite photo accessory (super teleconverter), a Birders Dream come true :) Thanks to this thread in particular I noticed its potential.

I did a preliminary test of the Tamron 70-200 f2.8 (using flat black painted Fotodiox Adapter), in my study with fluorescent light using a paper with text on a cork board, from about 2 meters away, i used only 4x focus assist, according to this test i would say the Tamron is sharp wide open from 70mm to 135mm and needs 1 click at 200mm
Here is one of the first "real life" photos i have taken with this combo that i like, this was with the Fotodiox adapter - 2 clicks, no CA´s at all :D, he was about 10 - 15 meters away
