Thank you, it is nice living in the country, alongside a river.
The house sits where the trailer in this picture is (I moved it before I built the house), I was standing to the far right when I took the sunset picture above.

This one is probably closer to the actual colors. I live along a river, which sits behind the viewpoint to the west, and is about 70 feet below where I was standing. In the afternoon/evening sometimes the misty fog rolls up the bank, through the trees (a code requires a 200 foot native growth buffer). The sun was fully set, and the sky had faint pink areas where there were some sparse clouds. It is a stack of 5 images for a broader dynamic range.

Once upon a time I rented a small beach house on Tulalip Bay, on the Tulalip Indian Reservation. The views were awesome, and the sunsets spectacular. I used mostly Kodachrome back then, and it captured the colors very well.
