Those were are such beautiful airplanes. Interesting to see that it still has radial engines. It is getting harder to find parts for rebuilds these days.

Oh, and back when I made that photo I didn’t work at The Big Shed. I was a heavy truck mechanic.

I found it quite interesting the ways that old trucks are used as signs around the country, and that one was the most innovative.

Digging through some backlog of unprocessed photos lately. This is from my days as a longhaul truck driver. I stopped frequently at the Sherman Summit rest area on I80 in Wyoming. It is the highest point along interstate 80 at 8,640 feet elevation.
