Well just after I replied to Scout yesterday, I got a price reduction update from eBay on a lens I had been watching, a Pentax A 28 f 2.8. The listing also had a make offer button, and after a couple of back and forth offers and counter offers I now am expecting another lens to be added to my collection.
So very soon I will be comparing the two myself.
Yay!

Thank you Scout.
I like it a lot, but it would be better if is was an A type lens. Since I don't have any other 28mm lenses, I can't compare it to others.
I am looking for a Pentax A28mm though, so when I get one I will be better prepared to draw comparisons.

Thank you!
Sure.
I set the camera to make a very long exposure, set the aperture all the way closed, prefocused, placed it on the
dash, took off driving about 25 mph or so, and made exposures every few seconds.
There are several more on my Flickr, click through and check them out.

Thank you Dennis.
I had just arrived at work, and had been watching the rain fall on the glass when the idea to try a shot struck me. I always have my camera handy, so I shut the car off, set the camera on the steering wheel, composed, focused, metered, adjusted and shot two frames. I liked this one best of the two.

I have a Japanese maple, started from a seedling in a pot on my porch a friend started from seeds a tree of hers dropped. It is 2 years old. Last spring it came out of dormancy and added a few branches and about 8” in height.
A couple weeks ago it began a second spurt of growth and has added another 8” or so.

Chevrolet UTE, or Coupé Utility.
Came from the factory pretty much as you see it. Different wheels and tires. The hot rod stuff under the hood was added.
Otherwise, just as you see it.
Built by General Motors - Holden's Limited, Australia. Sold at Australian dealers.
This one was shipped to North America, and converted to left hand drive.

You can go back and edit the post and change the image. Usually you get about a year after making a post to edit it.
Go ahead.
Make your day.
