Thanks Frank, I'm in Canberra and live on a nature reserve, they are fairly common here in the bushland, and they seem to be eating quite well lately. :)
Thanks for the compliment...

Lol, Thanks I appreciate that. FWIW, It tooks 3 months of stalking the Male Scarlet Robin before I had a shot of him worth posting, many previous shots weren't close enough and often had tree branches obstructing them. So on this particular day I had spent at least an hour getting caught in between branches to get a few good ones finally.
I'm glad you shared with us your Duck anyway, as I've never seen such a species down this way before.

These 'Butcher Birds' are a predatory bird, and will eat small lizards, and birds, they get their name from the hanging of captured prey in between tree forks/ branches.

Thanks, Yeah he look so royal or authoritarian. Thanks I look forward to seeing some recent shots from you.
I just checked the EXIF and no, both were just with natural morning sunlight... I had 2x flashes in my backpack, but had not used them at that stage.
The afternoon shots of the Kite did use the Metz58-AF2.

I don't think you meant me, but I will take it as a compliment for me anyway.. ;)
Thanks, I was gobsmacked just to see one sitting at my head height on foggy morning on a fence, usually I only see them about 50ft above my head.
Thanks Kengoh. Like wise on that Crimson Rumped Waxbill!

Thanks Kenogh, Yeah the male is black/orange and a little bigger, I've been trying to get it, but the females are always more social. I also think your Little Flycatcher is ridiculously cute too...
