I find it to be an underrated lens, nice sharpness and color. Read my review in the lens review section. I have shot a few pics at f/64, it's mainly advertising than practical photography. For the going price of the lens, it's a bargain.

Sigma 135mm F2.8 on a K-5iis. My grand dog, Marshall. He's a rescue GSP with a long uncropped tail. This guy is a character, he has a personality all his own.

A candid shot from afar. K-5iis + Sigma 135/2.8 Pantel coupled to AF 1.7x adapter. Original photo and tight crop, check out the teeth. I'd say that's not too bad for a 40 year old, under appreciated lens.

Went for a walk in the park today, carrying the K-5iis + Sigma 135/2.8 Pantel. Wasn't expecting to see much wildlife but I was mistaken. I stumbled upon a Mallard couple, in what I believe was a nesting area. Also, caught one in flight. Could have used a longer lens but you work with what you have.

I really like that photo, Racer. Can you tell us a little more about how you captured it?

From today's visit to the botanical gardens. This little gal posed especially for me but she was a little shy on the last one. K-5iis + Sigma 70mm f2.8 macro.

Maggie Marsh is right next to the Wildlife Refuge. There are 2 eagles nesting there with several chicks, at least the chicks were there in early May, The nest is located on the right as you enter the rear parking lot. I got a number of great picture of the male perched in a tree, almost like he was posing for me.

Are you going to take the opportunity to visit Hocking Hills during your visit? It has some very nice scenic areas, great for photos.

Yep, that Sigma Pantel is a real slouch. ;);)
That's a real nice landscape, very well done racer.
