This happens all too often, and that lag caused by the green button can cost you a photo, sometimes.

However, I still think the K55 1.8 is the best bang for your buck portrait lens made by Pentax... and I would heartily recommend it (try to find the K-mount version).

Buy the M/A 50 1.4. For portraits, the 1.4 is better than the 1.7.
