Has been a super long time since I have posted in here. Lost my password and then cos it was all going to my junk mail, I couldn't get back in :( Anyway, all sorted now. Thought I'd share my latest with the FA 77 + K5 combo :)

Shot with the Fa77 the other morning, I've always loved this place. The 77 is far and away my favourite lens to use, but it's also my only limited. Next I'm hoping to get is the 100mm WR macro lens :)

Gorgeous Mike!
Deimos, I used black and white presets in Lightroom and then just tweak there. There are heaps of free ones on the net if you do a search :)

That is lovely Sebcal, love your B&W conversion.
Is that HDR Deimos? I can see haloing around your subject.

Beautifully processed arpaagent. I quite like the 31, but feel it might be too short for me. I'm finding the 35 really wide as it is..

Thought I'd challenge myself with some self-portraits again, has been a while since I've done that. Both taken with the 77mm. Attachment 100448 |

Photos of cats are never boring :) Not a huge cat fan, but I love the look of them.
Shame about the boring walk, but you found a lovely subject nonetheless :)

So we don't know if anything really changed in the making of them then? It could all just be semantics?

My FA77 is the same as the Swede described, it's a lovely little bag. Now you've made me curious, were the older ones assembled in Japan as well as made there? Are the newer ones parts made in Japan and then assembled in Vietnam?

I'm starting to save towards getting a K5 now, I'm wanting the higher ISO capabilities. I love the 77, I'm still learning how to use it though.

As always this page leaves me in awe of talent. But my favourite would have to be the tiny, chubby hand patting the sandcastle. Love it.

I've seen the first movie and then read the 2nd and 3rd books over the last 2 weeks. I've ordered the 1st book as well, just waiting for it. He was a brilliant writer, such a shame he passed on :(

Lovely images Swede and what a great opportunity for some shots. Btw when I see your name I always think of Mikael Blomkvist from the Millienium series lol.

lol My husband is a comic book artist and a huge fan of US comics as well, so I know a bit about them all both through him and my own comic reading as a child. He's still Captain America! :D

Simon, beautiful shots as always. Love your tunnel shots Swede,I love shooting those as well :)
Interesting event V5 lol. Love your shots on here.
I got to use my 77 at the Winter Magic Festival yesterday, it was kind of hard to use as I'm used to the length of the 50 and I was in a pretty crowded place. Anyway, I still enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to getting to know this lens properly :)

DaniRo I love the first one, such a clean b&w conversion. I need to learn how to do that. I also like the one with the sun flare through the split log, such an unusual perspective.

Thank you :) If the weather is ok I plan on taking it with me to the Winter Magic festival in the Blue Mountains this weekend. Plenty of opportunities there for photos!
I love looking through the photos on this thread, there are such nice ones.
