Lots of projects these days pulling me away from my hobby but that's life sometimes...anyways here are some samples from a trip last month to New Mexico using a Zeiss Touit 50mm/2.8 Macro. Needless to say, I am back-logged with stuff to cull or process or whatever :lol:

Life is busy at times, but I manage to break away once in a while :)
So here's a couple of out-of-camera jpegs with a relatively new lens acquisition...although I did do some minor minor cropping
First is a very small unidentified mountain flower along a hiking trail in CO Little mountain flower by Gabe D., on Flickr
Second is a large Plumeria bloom just steps from my front door...which is about as far as I care to venture down here at this time of year :lol: Plumeria by Gabe D., on Flickr

I really like taking this little Voigt along with me and I should say... there has recently been an addition to my Voigtlander family :)

I've opted to open and steep a special new tea to relax and sit back with...so that I may admire all the exemplary bokeh shared by everyone here. This is truly one of the nicest threads to visit. Longjing by Gabe D., on Flickr
X-T5 + a Chinese manual 35mm f1.4 lens I recently bought for use on my 720nm IR converted X-T2.
Surprisingly good on a standard body as well and less than 90USD too. Just another example that good bokeh need not be cost prohibitive

Its absolutely beautiful country there as I'm sure you know. My first time in the GSMs and it did not disappoint. Started off in Charlotte NC for 3 nights, then the mountains of Gatlinburg Tn for 3 nights, finally down to Atlanta area for 3 nights. Fun road trip and yes the smokies lived up to their name but by the time we got to Clingman's on the way down to Atlanta it cleared up well and the view from the observation tower was stunning.
Here's another in B&W with that Voigt 23mm...such a small and interesting lens with beautiful bokeh. The hillsides were covered in these little flowers, each less than a centimeter in width. High Elevation Houstonias by Gabe D., on Flickr

@WPRESTO I got a genus and species ID on that cone shaped flower, its a Ptilotus exaltatus. Its actually a native to Australia and as such is heat and drought tolerant. Google that if your interested and check out the images of it in full bloom...a very striking flower indeed.
So I very recently obtained something that transformed my DA*55mm. Have a look at some of the results...these are just test images of a miniature rose that has come into bloom on our patio (so far these roses seem to be doing OK here) taken a couple of days ago after one of our daily rain showers. Needless to say after spending about 20 or so minutes out there I looked like I had just jumped in a lake, I was so soaked with sweat :mad:. Anyways for reference of scale the full bloom is about the diameter of a quarter and the buds themselves are quite small.
@f6.3
@f2.8
@f1.4
A Raynox 150 has unleashed a bokeh monster from the *55! (Cue mad scientist laughter and music:)) In addition its been given close focus abilities. The depth of field is sooo shallow but you can see that those tiny drops are where I focused. I've had a Raynox 250 for a while but the 150 seems more suitable for the *55. I must try this on the Voigtlander Nokton as that lens is already a bokeh beast. Anyways not bad for something I picked up on Amazon in like new condition for about $30.

Thanks Walter, I like it too and I've been trying to ID it but no luck so far. If anyone knows feel free to post it.
Thanks Taks, the weather in Colorado makes my photo hikes a pleasant experience...where my wife and I live in S. FL this time of year makes it hard to want to be outside unless a beach is involved :lol: That's a nice series you got there as well...you using a zoom with those? The compression in your images works well especially with the last one.
Nonsense add some chops to that grill and get Racer X 69 to bring a cooler full of that chocolate stout and we can kick it up a notch.:) Nice example of refraction bokeh there BTW.
