Yikes! 43mm is a small lens to handle, which is one of its strengths...unfortunately those of us with big hands can end up fumbling a bit if we're not too careful. Hopefully it is salvageable or you're willing to replace it...personally I would not be willing to go without mine.

Thanks Vincent! While exploring around I found an elevated spot on the river bank that provided that nice vantage point :)

That model has lovely colored and toned skin and you brought that out wonderfully given the shooting conditions!

Normally I like B&W a lot but in this case I will go with the color since it imparts a more pronounced vision of the model.

Very nice, especially the second. I'm still a bit partial to my 31mm but I haven't spent as much time with the 43mm to really say one way or the other.

No worries, as you've demonstrated...there are plenty of models in the sea and the best thing to do is just get right back out there and catch some. Oh and remember to post them here when you do ;) :D

Ahh..utilizing intermolecular cohesive forces :D BTW interesting choice with the K10D...I've often considered picking one up to use its CCD for maco flower shots as it seems to produce very nice rendering.

I doubt anyone is complaining...except for perhaps the lack of any NSFW material. Anyways last year I finally completed my several years search and acquisition of the FA Ltd trinity that I've been wanting...you all finally broke me down and I couldn't be happier, they are marvelous feats of optical engineering. I'll be sharing as time permits...been so busy and will continue to be so for at least the next couple of months :( BTW Chris...I really like your most recent post, reminds me of an enchanting mermaid scene
