New PentaxForums member here. Although I (shamefully!) don't own a Pentax camera I am falling in love with Taks on my Canon 550D and this seems to be the place to go.
I'm basically reasonably new to photography in general. I'm experienced with video and like so many I have gotten into the DSLR video game, which comes with the side-effect of shooting a lot of photos now too. :D
I overpaid for a 55/2 but it was worth it as it has opened my eyes to this wonderful world. I've added a 135/3.5 to my bag and there'll be more on the way. Love the weight of my Super-Takumars and (crucially for video) the focus rings are fabulous, like silken buttery dolphin stroking.
