Hello. I'm going to take the leap and finally post my very first post to this forum. I joined back in August, and have been reading daily ever since. I'm very new to the SLR world. I tried my hand at film many years ago but failed and became a P&S person. I got my K-X in August and being able to see what the various settings actually do immediately has been a wonderful thing.
I thought I would make my first post here as my favorite subject is images of my pets... which are not your normal cat or dog image. I have been trying to stay in aperture or shutter priority modes, but when dealing with a hedgehog, I switched out.
I recently got a D FA 100M Macro F2.8. I was playing with the lens and thought this image was maybe good enough to share with you all and not be too embarrassed. I LOVE the bokeh on this lens. Everything I read on this forum about it has been 100% spot on.
