Beautiful shots - but where oh where did you find a relatively clean street-level slice of the Duomo to shoot? ;) Last month there was no green to be seen for the first 15 feet.

I hate my scanner. I had to scan these as prints, and even then it didn't do them justice.
These were from a test roll of a batch of expired AgfaColor 100 that I got on eBay for my trip. I love this film. So warm and rich. I wish the scans really matched the prints.
Riley The Dog, Pentax MX with the dreaded Takumar (Bayonet) 135/2.5. Stopped down to about 3.5. This shot was really overexposed, but I did get a couple really nice, tack-sharp pics with this lens.
Yellow Warning, MX with M-50/1.7, at about f8.

Cool. Yeah, that's what it is. Stays cool in the summer down here, and quite pretty if done right. Of course in the '70s everybody put holes in it to put down shag carpet, so it's typically ruined at the edges when you do see it down here.

Ah, high school.
(Edit: Was that in Canada? I didn't know they used Terrazzo flooring up there. That looks exactly like a south florida high school)

Nice! What film are you using there?
I always wanted to try a rangefinder, the Lynx is very nice. What do they run?

The mirror is what gets it for me. Your eye kind of searches the picture and when you hit the mirror it really jumps out at you! Great composition.

I think you're right. I fixed them and reuploaded them. Something was lost in the transition between 16 and 8 bit I think.
Nesster, that fallout shelter is deliciously grainy! I LOVE IT. Amazing.

Gofour- love that one of the seagull - I like how the background is still reasonably in focus. Great composition.
Got my TMax100 roll back yesterday - this is more like it.
This first shot was oversharpened, but that's easy to fix.
My scanner seems to be able to pull more detail out and not have nearly as much noise with this film - which is a good thing. I'll be shooting 4 rolls of this stuff next month when I go to France and Italy, and 4 rolls of Velvia 100F. I'm excited about all the digital shots I'll take but I think I'm even more excited about the film shots.

okay I'm still a newbie at this film thing but I took this shot in color (on Superia) and the color was way out of whack. It was ridiculously contrasty, and I had a real hard time with my scanner, too. However, I converted it to black and white and it set it as my desktop picture. It really started to grow on me and so I thought I'd share it. Be gentle. ;)
