Hello everyone.
I'm not sure whether I'm posting at the right place, but I have a question...
Is there an internet site other than electron world where I can buy pentax lenses?
I ordered a pentax da*55 through electron world and I've been waiting for 3 weeks now and I still don't have it!

I emailed them this morning and they said shipment will take place before the weekend and tracking details will
be sent by the end of the week...which means I'll get my lens during next week which is a full month since they
sent me an email that my order is being processed. I've got a feeling they didn't even process my order until
they recieved my mail this morning.

By the way, I live in Auckland and use a K-7. Nice to meet you.;-)

Hi. I've sent my K-7 to IRL for sensor check and cleaning about 2 weeks ago, becuase I
accidentely touched the sensor with the tip of blower. I recieved my camera back from them
today. It seem their workshop has been damaged due to the earthquake. They said over the
phone that they sustained some damage.

Anyway, fortunately it turned out to be a smudge so it was cleanable. So I also told them about
some dust spots that appear in the pictures and ordered a general sensor cleaning.

Well, the result? I'm never sending my camera to IRL again. They charged me $142.31 for
sensor check and cleaning, and I took some test shots after recieving my camera this morning,
and I can see numerous dust spots in the images taken. I've paid for nothing! Although they
cleaned the smudge, they shouldn't have charged me this much for sensor cleaning if they
weren't gonna do it properly. I could have done it myself with a sensor cleaner if they were to
do it this way.

I'm never sending my camera to them again. I think they are useless...

Hello there.
It's my first time here and I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to post this here,
but I desperatly need help. If it's not appropriate of me posting here, please disregard.

I'm a Aucklander and I own a Pentax K-7. I was cleaning the sensor with the mirror up
with a blower a couple of hours ago, where I accidently scratched the surface of the sensor.
I am willing to replace the sensor with a new one. Could I know where to go and how much
it would cost? It would be really grateful if you could help me out.
