Normal vs. Live View in EXIF data?

It will be in Maker Notes - Focus Mode (tag 0x000d). For example 'Contrast-detect' (32) for LV and 'AF-S' (16) for viewfinder focus.

You can view this with ExifTool - use ExifToolGUI if you can't cope with the ExifTool line command interface :)
