The 16-85 is by far my most used lens.

BTW, since the 16-45 does not come with a Pentax lens case, I did find one that works well. It's the Op/Tech Lens/Filter Pouch. (  |

So what can the 16-85 not do? I'm using the 18-135, but for my purposes, I will get a lot more use out of the 16-18mm end of the 16-85 than the 85-135mm end of the 18-135. I've been through this thread and searched, but my question is:
Are there any recurring problems with the 16-85 that should cause me to hesitate to buy a used copy? Quality control issues? Decentering issues?
I can't afford a new copy, but I'm hesitant to buy a used one. Thanks for any info!
