Item Description
As inscribed on the lens, this is a "Pentax Rear Converter-A 645 1.4x for 300mm ED(IF)". Regardless of its name, it works on a variety of 645 format lenses including those with FLs of 120, 200, 300 and 600mm.
I'm listing this as "Damaged" (as it should be) because of what appears to be delamination of a pair of glued optical elements within the lens. I purposely tried to show the maximum extent of the problem in the last photo below by bringing in light at an extreme angle. BTW, I've read how this can by fixed by adventurous/ambitious DIY'ers out there, so might be worth considering if you're so inclined. Even with delamination, full frame test images look quite good - see test photo at bottom and those linked here (645 1.4x Converter + A*600 f/5.6 Test Shots - darylkottwitzphoto) to see for yourself.
Except for the delamination, the lens is in good to excellent condition.
Front and rear caps have minor scratches showing nominal usage.
The pouch is in excellent condition with the only marking being "1.4X" handwritten on the attached tag.
Below is a test shot taken wide open (f/8) with this converter mounted between my K-1 & 645-to-K mount adapter and A*600mm f/5.6 lens (also for sale). Note that sign was angled away (vertical red stripe on pole is perpendicular to sign face), so slight variance in sharpness of sign face is due to varying distance from the focal plane.
