I believe MJ has also said that 'most lenses are better than most photographers'.
Think about that statement.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion...even if it contains hyperbole. That said, the DA 35 is a very fine lens. It does have excellent micrcontrast. :cool:

I have the 25 Distagon and the DA 35... both are excellent...but I like the 25 the more. The *best* lens in the world, like the *best* photo is subjective. :)

The sensor is what we used to call film. Different films gave different results with the same lens. Any more questions? Opinions about lenses are as varied as snowflakes and they are all valid. What really matters is whether or not YOU like a lens. ;)
