I agree, I have a K5iis and K5, but i by no means ignore my Q... it's just a FUN little camera. They each have their place in my style of shooting.

Thanks guys! I have to admit that as much as I love the 01 prime, that 06 Zoom is rapidly becoming my favorite Q lens.

Though I did use my K5d while on vacation, I ended up walking around with my Q + 06 zoom and X100 most of the time.

I agree with that, it's also been my experience that the Q + prime is amazing sharp from f2 to f4, but above f4 things go downhill. As a rule I stay in the f 1.9-4.5 range and that seem to work well for me.
Ah a fellow Montreal Q owner! Well, we now know there are at least 2 of us! :D

Brought the Q to camp over the weekend... and it was a good idea as the SDM motor in my DA*16-50 has started to die... again.

Not yet, and I'll be sending that lens to Pentax Canada for service in a few days... the aperture linkage is jamming in the wide open position when I extend and then retract the zoom.

A few from my walk downtown Montreal with my Q... It is amazing how invisible the Q is to most people... except to photographers. I was asked by 3 people today "Oh wow, is that the Q!?" They were quite impressed.

At the Aviation Museum
At the Canadian War Museum
Memorial Hall at the Canadian War Museum
This bunker type room is a memorial to the Unknown Soldier. There is a headstone on the left wall, and only 1 window on the right wall. The window is strategically placed to that the sun shines on the headstone every November 11th at 11h11 on remembrance day.
