Another one with the 90 Di, I find I have to add like 10x the saturation in LR with shots from this lens compared with the limiteds, maybe the hood would help, but the glass is already so deep Untitled by phil.w, on Flickr

Glad you like it!
You may want to try checking to see whether the focus is off on the lens. Not sure what camera you have but many have AF adjust options. Tamrons are a bit notorious for having these issues sometimes. This could be a reason as some shots would be out of focus depending on the aperture. This would be Front focus or back focus which is likely what you meant.
Shooting in full sun can also be an issue especially if shooting into the sun or when strong rays could enter the lens and cause flare or washed out photos. A hood can help with this a bit.
Try taking some test shots at your lowest aperture preferably on a tripod on a timer shooting at a 45 degree angle at your lowest fstop. You can print a test chart from the internet. This should give you an idea of whether your focus is off
or not. That said many people say this method is prone to errors so take it with a grain of salt.
Good luck!

@Serenity is that the Di version or the older version of the 90mm? the bokeh looks more dreamy I like it
I have enjoyed my 17-50 and 90 Di Macro a lot. Time for me to join the club. Two from Jamaica.
No pp, K-r with 17-50 then the 90 with Raynox 150
