The A 50mm 1,7 is my sharpest lens, but I don't use it too often. 50mm is kind of no-mans land for me, too long for urban landscape and too short for tele-stuff. But it's pretty cool for portraits. |

I enhanced the ringy stuff in pp a bit. But you are right, the A-50 1,7 does not have the creamiest bokeh I've seen, but it depends a lot on where the light is coming from. On a positive side, the lens is incredibly sharp, has good contrast and colours. And it's very small. And it was cheap.

Pentax-A 50mm 1,7 with the Pentax Close-up lens. Not quite macro, but not bad either... |
