Some of my bird in flight shots taken with K3 published on a China website:

It says "Though K1 is great but it cannot replace K3 for these bird in flight shots especially the 8.3fps

Though I have the K1 but K3 is still good for bird in flight due to the much higher fps.

Shot with Sigma 500 F4.5 with one single trigger burst shots:
