Yep :D:D:D
I'm only just starting to get the hang of using this lens; my previous long lens was the Sigma 400/5.6, and I still use a sigma 70-200/2.8, but this is a different beast altogether. I mean, those two lenses, I could hand hold. The FA 250-600/5.6? Haha, no way, not for more than a shot or two, and not very steadily. I've had to get an entire new support system for the lens too, i.e. a tripod and gimbal head, as my existing tripod and ballhead just wasn't up for the job. Still a lot to work on in terms of technique and just practice with the lens.

At 520mm with my new lens: 20131009 - 005 Jetstar Boeing 787
There were two other shots with that lens, but they were shot at less than 300mm focal length so I haven't posted them here. ;)

Shot with the Sigma 400mm F5.6 Tele Macro this morning. At f/5.6 it's a bit soft, but step it down a bit, and it does quite well: |

Cross-posted to another thread, but here's a photo taken with a K-7 + Sigma 400mm F5.6 APO Tele Macro, not a bad option for a AF 400mm lens: |
