I have some more expensive lenses (FA31mm Ltd, DA*55mm) and some mid-ranged priced lenses (DA 40mm ltd, DA 10-17MM Fisheye), but my 18-250mm is my leave-on lens (IE it's always put away with that lens on incase I need my camera fast). I am quite impressed with it's sharpness for a "low-end" zoom (except past 200mm, where it definitely drops off), and it's versatility can't be beat... I was going to say "for the price" but I'm not aware of a lens for Pentax that covers this range besides their new 18-270mm (mainly at the wide end, however, if someone knows of one I would definietly like to hear :))
