Nice shots. What developer did you use for the HP5?

MAYBE it is time to go back to the basics and do our own dry or wet plates, and go back to view cameras. I am experimenting with those and it is fascinating.

How do you like Silverfast compared to the Epson program that came with the V850? I just got the V800 with additional Silverfast, but I still use the templates from the V700.

Very nice, my favorite is the first one. What film did you use and what developer?

I have always wanted to do that, but I think I found the formula to do not worry about N development, or about developing pulled and pushed film. I do stand development, but with this variation: I use Rodinal, and I only put in the jar 3.5 mL of Rodinal per 35mm roll. Then fill the tank with distilled water.3.5mL is all the developer a 35mm roll needs. In the tank, I can put to different rolls, shot at different ASA, or EI. Temperature does not worry me either. I pour the developer and stir for 1 minute and leave it alone for 60 min, or more (since the developer is exhausted, there is no overdevelopment). So far, everything came perfect. I read this somewhere in the internet, and the guy did not recommend this for negatives that will be wet paper printed later on. The sample below is Ilford XP2 400 (a C41 process film) done this way. This is the place to order, they sell out as soon as they announce they have some. There are only six guys in the factory trying to revive the old glory.

Tony: Those are really nice, sharp and shinning, especially for a ASA 400. Since you mentioned the Adox R09, I have a little bottle of it, but it says R09 EZPECIALLE. Is that the same Adox Rodinal? I have not used it yet. ---------- Post added 01-28-18 at 10:50 PM ----------
It looks very sharp.

Not much. We are busy trying to find the best developer for the P30. In this moment I am scanning the second roll. I think Rodinal, stand development at 45min will do it. Agitation: 1 minute with the rotation tool that comes with the tank, and one inversion at 25min. No need to Stop Bath, the Rodinal is spent by then. Just rinse with water and pour the fixer. Then, wash and voila.

Very nice Tuco, I love the MF square format. The two pics below were made experimenting on a new film that came in the market (in fact it is an old film factory that was shot down years ago: Ferrania in Italy.), the Ferrania P30. I got my first roll developed and I was not happy, so I posted four or five pics on the MF forum asking for advice on what I did wrong, and what do you think? Two of those were picked up by Flickr's EXPLORE yesterday and I got over 4K views on one. Here they are: Velero by Palenquero Photography, on Flickr Open Arms by Palenquero Photography, on Flickr
Those were shot with a Leica M6. However, I just finished developing the second roll taken with the SPotmatic F. I will post those tomorrow. Comments are welcome.

I like both. However, the second one is such a testament to genetic beauty. In the future, the girl will look like the mom in the back. I am assuming she is her mother.
Well captured.
