I haven't been able to get results anywhere near this from my 67 and 165ls. Tell me this is scanned with a Epson flatbed and I will have to sell all my gear and take up knitting or something.....:lol::lol::lol:

Both with Pentax 67 and 165 ls lens and two off camera flashes
Tri X developed in D76
Overly contrasty as I was agitated when I was agitating... Oh well lesson learned don't go into the dark room angry.

There are some really wonderful shots in this thread!!!
I was reminded of this during my last forray in my "studio" aka the small corner of my basement:D.
I like to get the lights in as close as possible and thought I got the lights out of the frame as I couldn't see them through the prism finder.
Got a nice little surprise once I got my negatives back. I had to crop and edit light modifiers out of every shot.:mad::mad:
Another thing I noticed was the view finder is so much darker with the 165 f4 than with the 105 2.4. It was so dark, I had a hard time nailing focus. I just added a WLF to my wishlist.

Honestly, I was expecting much given my skill (I don't shoot my DSLR with IS at 1/15) and the 67s reputation, but I figured that if they came out terribly I could just say that they were "fine art" :lol::lol:. This was just a test roll, I was looking for light leaks etc., but, I must say I was quite happy with these 2 shots and feel optimistic about my future relationship with "Big Bertha"
Thanks Luc. I agree, I have viewed them at 100% and they won't hold up to being any bigger.

Thank you fs999. I used Portra 400NC. I had flirted with the idea of pushing it to 1600 but I didn't because I have never pushed Portra and more importantly my local developer doesn't do push/pull processing which meant that I would have to take it into the city, drop it off and pick it up next week. That was entirely too long for me to wait to see the results.
