Thank you, problem was I cound'nt get any further away from target, the kitchen has limited space, and I was wondering what I could do with this lens( Tamron Mirror 500 55BB) hunting Dragon Flies compared to my Sig 120-400, Donuts will stuff me up I think.

Have not used this lens for some time now. Of late I have been attempting dragonfly shots with sigma 120-400 ( results have been ok but not great). I think I may take this lens on next field trip. Some info on shot,
Yongnuo 560: Set at 50 power, 35 zoom, 50+/-, on stand 3ft, 45deg above camera left on stand,, round reflector camera right, cactus V5 trigger. Shot taken from a distance of around 20ft at night one fluro lite in kitchen.
