Jussi, RML

So, these lenses take a slide-in hood, hah! and not screw in type. The Solinar 75/3.5 is a 32mm filter one unlike the others which are 30mm.

Jussi, which folders do you consider awesome.

RML those Kodak Signet 35 looks hyper-cool.....

Yup! I am....

I am not expecting much in terms of IQ. I just adore mecahnical things, especially if it is compact and intricate. I just love the idea of using it. However, I do want useable IQ (thus the reason not to get the older version where there is no rangefinder and I have to guess distances which I am absolutely weak at). This lens is a tessar design with anti-reflective coating and should be ok (I might get a lens hood too). I've seen some very decent images in flickr takne with these isolettes.

Do you have any experience with it?

I almsot got the Russian Moskva-5 6X9 MF, which even had the coupled rangefinder, so the lens sets the distance as the rangefinder is tuned. With mine I have to get a reading on the range finder and then set it on the lens - uncoupled rangefinder.

But, these isolette's are German and was able to get an excellent copy guarnateed to work. I couldn't find a Moskva-5 that I knew would work for sure - Most copies will have major problems. I didn't want to spend too much and thus the German 6X9 Zeiss super ikonta's weren't really an option. May be if I really, really like these folders I may go that route.

I wanted a camera smaller than my K-7 or my 35mm Pentax Program Plus and I didn't want a sensor/film smaller than APS-C/35mm. either.....yeah! wanted it all:)

It's not even in my hands yet, but I am super excited so I will post a stock photo here.

It's the 6X6 medium format Agfa Isolette III with the Solinar 75/3.5 lens and the synchro-compur shutter (The lens and the shutter are the cadillac versions in that era, and the picture here shows the Solinar 85/4.5 whic is a step below the f3.5 version), the camera and lens pre-dates Pentax.
