Sorry, I mislead you, it's not that it's slow, but when I'm trying to lock on subjects around 6-9 meters or further away, I usually end up backfocusing. I'm blaming the K10D's focusing system for it, but there is always a chance of user error :) I'm using AF-S and center point. It's a bit annoying, but when you know it's there I might eventually learn to compensate it via quick shift.

A few from the 40ltd... It's a great lens, but I'm having hard time focusing it with my K10D, especially on subjects a bit further away.
