Thanks mate- it's a gymnasium, my partner used to play a lot of basketball games in there when she was growing up in the town. These days it's mainly used as a boxing venue, it's a shame I didn't get to see the inside when I was there as it's supposed to be pretty cool too.
The city proposed to tear it down a while back but there was enough protesting against it that they decided to keep it.

Thanks mate. I actually have a Cokin Z-Pro filter system, have been reading about the troubles it has attaching to the lens because the built in lens-hood protrudes past the lens face. Looks as though the work-arounds (including step-up rings or stacking it on a gutted-out UV filter) will cause vignetting to some degree. I may just resort to holding up the filter itself by hand!

1st attempt at a "seascape"- I'm finding that preventing the skies from overexposing is tricky with this lens, in cases where you are adding a lot of foreground to the shot, the sky tends to overexpose. Will have to pick up a circular grad nd filter soon. Have only found the B+W "702" 2 stop so far, anyone know any cheaper alternatives? Or does a normal grad nd filter work and I can simply not screw it in as much if I want to switch to a portrait shot? (wow this probably sounds like a dumb question!) Thanks! I'll have to go back there when I get a ND filter and when there's some decent cloud coverage in the sky, should make for a more interesting shot

I *think* it's ok sharpness wise. I'm quite surprised how much sharpening it needs in post though, possibly even more than my Tamron 17-50. Shooting on a IIs as well, would have thought the sharpening would have been minimal so the jury is still out...

Nice shots Yiptwo, especially like the first one- did they work well in colour as well or did the B&W conversion look better?
Day 2 with the 15, this one has a Bleach Bypass effect in it to bring out the brick texture: Winthrop Hall - UWA by linds1234, on Flickr
