I guess it's kind of blasphemous on this site...but I bought a Sony A6000 for takumar duty. Great, light weight little camera to complement my taks. Plus the focus peaking on it is so much better than the peaking on my K30 or K01.

Been wanting the SMC Takumar 135 f2.5 for some time now...finally pulled the trigger on one. Can't wait to get it and put it through the paces. Love the pics on here I see from it and have always loved the focal length!

Great capture Joe...the clouds were beautiful in Rolla tonight. The evening light has been really unusual the past two nights!

Great shots with the 28. I have only had mine about 7-8 months but it is becoming a favorite of mine.

[QUOTE=.
I own the Pentax-M 50mm f1.4, the M f1.7, and the Pentax-A f1.7. There is clearly something to the aura or quality of the images with the Tak. Maybe it's the radioactive glass, I don't know, but the bokeh is magical, and the 3D factor is immense. It's a special 50 for sure...
I know what you mean. I have a bunch of nice 50s from F 50 1.7 to several M 50s to a really nice Vivitar 55 macro...but there is something special about my SMC 50 1.4 Tak. The pictures it captures just make you think...that shot was taken with a quality piece of glass.

Mike...I'm usually a sucker for B&W...but in this case I prefer the color one. I really like the age spots on the stones and the hint of green in the background. Just my 2 cents. Both are nice though.
