I almost never use flash. I only own the one on the camera.
I thought you were crazy so I had to test that. I pointed the camera at a dark corner on full auto and focused. It said f3.2 @ 3200, popped up the flash and tripped the shutter. It took the pic at 3.2 iso 100. After a brief peek at the manual, I don't see any flash setting that would up the apeture in auto mode. It did work as I thought it should in AV mode. It used the selected aperture and adjusted the rest.

I agree it is camera shake, but when I look at the first 2 images I have to wonder if you weren't using center spot focus and focusing on the couch back. Also it is possible that you did not wait for focus confirmation and simply pushed the shutter to quickly.
