That sounds like a Luddite approach. DSLRs already have composition lines, focus points, etc. available in the view. If you are happy sticking to 1950s tech just keep what you have, but don't discourage innovation and improvement.

Sony Semiconductor lists availability of 2 APS sensors. They were announced/leaked Sept 2018 but I don't know how long they've actually been available. (Products Line up for Camera Image Sensor for Camera | Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation)
IMX571 (referenced in this rumor) is 26mp, 16 fps at full resolution, back illuminated. IMX271 is 24mp, 19 fps, front illuminated.
I'll note that the only FF sensor listed is 24mp, there's no evidence of the K-1 36mp, so Sony probably does exclusive deals with camera manufacturers that never get offered on that page.
