Took these photos circa 1985-86 with my ME Super and my 50 mm f2.0 kit lens on slide film. These were taken on a trip through the blast zone near Mt Saint Helen's. Dug out the old slides recently. One is of the "Miners Car" (you can google to learn more about the story behind it, it's still there today, as far as I know) and the other shows the raw power of the blast. You can see Douglas Fir trees knocked over like match sticks.

This is one of my favorites. K-r with kit 55-300. It might be a little tight on the zoom, but the light was good.
